Lapford Pre-School.
A friendly Pre-School situated on the same site as Lapford Community
Primary School. The premises are light, airy and cheerful with our
own enclosed playground. Children from any of the surrounding
villages are welcome, regardless of which school they will attend.
We provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children
can join with others to play and learn together, gaining confidence
and independence ready for the transition to school.
The pre-school is affiliated to the Pre-School Learning Alliance and
is open 38 weeks each year. We are closed during local school
holidays, including half-term breaks. We provide up to 18 hours of
care and education between 9.15 am and 3.15 Monday, Wednesday and
Friday. We are registered to take children aged between 2 and 5.
Parents may register their child(ren) to attend as many or as few
hours as they like. Nursery education funding is currently available
for children from the term after their third birthday, for up to 15
hours per week. If you use another childcare supplier you may be
able to split the funding to suit your personal requirements.
