Monday 5th July
The Revel 2010 Race Night @ Old Malt Scoop first race at 8.30PM
Tuesday 6th July
Lapford & District Horticultural Society Rose & Sweet pea Show @
Lapford Victory Hall. Open from 8-00pm. Admission 50p
Wednesday 7th July
Lapford Football Club Grand Charity Bingo. Many Prizes available.
Lapford Victory Hall. Doors open 7:00pm, Eyes Down 8.00pm Thursday 8th July
- On The Village Green
6.45pm: The Royal Procession, will start at the Village Car
Park. The Church bells will ring out to announce the beginning of
the procession.
7.30pm: The Crowning Ceremony commences on the Village Green.
7.45pm: Dancing display by children from Lapford CP School
and street dancing by Caution Friday 9th July
5.00pm: The Revel Tea at Lapford CP School with entertainment
from Uncle Bobby at the School. Open to all children up to the age
of 11, from Lapford and Nymet Roland
6.45pm: The Revel Fun and Games Evening organised by the Yeo
Valley Fellowship on the Playing Field. Entry is free and there are
prizes for the top teams. Teams will consist of 4 people, two of
whom must be under 14s. Enter your team on the night with Richard
Yendell. There will be a limit of 12 teams.
Saturday 10th July
10.00 – 12.00 - Judging of Scarecrow competition by Mary Brown

Music from local artists down on the Playing Field with the BBQ and
chips available until 10.00pm

Sunday 11th July
6.00pm The Revel Victorian Songs of Praise in the St.Thomas of
Canterbury Church will involve the Revel King and Queen along with
other members of the community in a celebration of the Revel and our
village.
It’s all Old Hat – Bring along your “Victorian style hat” for
judging by the Revel King & Queen.
This is a great day for the Church of St Thomas of Canterbury
